Thanks Sadilou! This has been on my wishlist for a while now.
It's been on my TBR shelf for even longer! I just don't know if I'm going to get around to reading it and I hate keeping it for so long. I'm going to check and see if anyone else has a wish for it and send it off on another adventure!
A RABCK from my wish list!! How very kind ;-) Thanks so much Soraidh!!!
This poor book has been on my shelf forever.. I finally decided to listen to it.
Another book borrowed on Audio Overdrive from the library...
For some reason I thought this was a book about this man's adopted mom...however dispute my confusion, this was a beautiful story about a very tough woman. I think of some friends I have in biracial relationships and the trouble they have now... I am amazed at what she and her family went through during the 40's, 50's and 60's... A very inspiring story.

I haven't read it yet. Found it at a bus stop.
Very touching story. I finished it while in New Orleans and will leave it at the airport
Amazing story. Read an excerpt for one of my classes in college and has been on my "to-read" list ever since. I found it in New Orleans at the perfect time!
