2 journalers for this copy...
I discovered Katherine Hall Page only this year when my mystery book group selected her first mystery "The Body in the Belfry" to read for one of our meetings. But I have become a fan. In my zeal to collect and read all the series, I wound up with 2 copies of this one. I like the relationship between caterer/former New Yorker/ young mom Faith and her minister husband and the quirky characters of the small Massachusetts town in which they live, including Faith's good friend Pix Miller. (Yes, Aleford seems to rival Cabot Cove for most murders in a small New England town.)
In this installment, someone is terrorizing the inhabitants of Aleford, especially the activists opposed to the proposed housing development that would destroy Beecher's Bog. Faith investigates while whipping up a batch of her Chocolate Crunch cookies (recipes included).

Sent today to SCOUT-FINCH from the book relay.
I had just finished (and very much enjoyed) my first KH Page mystery, The Body in the Bonfire, when I saw this listed on a BookRelay. Many thanks to bookhunter21 for offering this up - this is one of my favorite new Cozy series!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I'm doing a New Year's purge of my bookshelves, and I have quite a few Cozy Mysteries that I will be donating to my local library's book sale. Among the collection is a large group of Katherine Hall Page books ("The Body in the ..." series) and I wanted to keep them all together, so this book is on its way to find a new home through the library book sale. Good luck, little book!
