Such a fun book! Since I have a small apartment I don't have room for a big ol' coffee table book. This small volume is perfect. I won't keep it long, though. Want to move it along for others to enjoy.

The book's explicitly obvious subject matter is treated with probably more humor than many might like, but there are some medical truths and discussions, such as turtleneck or not (the Foreskin Debate) and truth about penis size (what book on penises could skip that). I love the centerfold, a collage of men of all different shapes and sizes baring it all. You don't see any faces, so it is just penises on parade. But you do see lots of expression in the way the men are standing. There is one guy with a very small penis, but nicely developed body and his hands are clenched in fists, like he is saying "You wanna dare make a 'cute' comment?"

This book brought a lot of laughs to a sleepover that I had at a friend's house last Saturday night. Just imagine 3 girls (ages 25-26) drinking alcohol and reading this book aloud. ha ha! I think our favorite section was the different names for male masturbation.

Book completed on day it arrived. I kept it these extra days to finish a bookring I had that goes to the same person as this bookring. Sorry but will save shipping costs any way I can, and all parties involved were fine with my decision.

Zmrzlina-I read the previous journal entries when I recieved the book and your comment "penises on parade" had me giggling madly. I instantly thought of the Disney song from Dumbo "Pink Elephants on Parade". Think of "Pink Elephants" as something like "huge penises" when you read (or sing) the lyrics HERE See if you can get the song out of your head while reading the book. ;-)

Came home from work to find the Penis book had arrived.
I "devoured" it in one sitting. Much to my husband's chagrin. High in fructose and 5 calories a teaspoon, definitely not allowed on weightwatchers.

So finally its my turn for this book. I got whole bunch of other books that day and I was sitting in the living room with my husband unpacking them (not expecting this one yet of course. When I took it out my husband saw it and he was like "What the heck?!!! Who's sending you such books??" He grabbed it and could not believe it. I had so much fun watching his reaction. And then he asked "So youre going to be looking at it when I'm not around?". Hahaha. Can't wait to "read" it.

This was definately very interesting and exciting little book. I don't think I have ever blushed so much. Definately something different than I usually pick.It took me so long to read it because I was waiting for a lonely moment to enjoy it and never seemed to be by myself.

I was expecting something a bit bigger, but still looks entertaining. I'll PM the next person in line right away since I doubt I'll hang onto the book for more than 2 weeks.

I kinda forgot that I still had this, to be honest. I ended up reading most of it, definitely had fun with the pictures! I still think this book should have done for men what Stiff did for death and burial -- I would have liked a more narrative based book with maybe some more research and a slightly more serious tone. Although Stiff was serious without being serious. I guess I'm just being picky.

This will go out in my next batch of mailings.

EDIT: Shoot! I found this book when I was cleaning out my car. Somehow it managed to avoid my mailing run two weeks ago. I have another post office run in the works for Monday or Tuesday afterwork. I'll make sure it gets in there then! Sorry! :(

OK, I have to say that using the ah, cock (meaning rooster this time!) BookCrossing bookplate was a lovely touch. He's never sat so proudly in any other book! This was light and fun, although not quite as funny as I had expected, but then I don't imagine men would appreciate the idea of ladies sitting around laughing at any of their...membership. :P Thanks for including me in the ring, even though I've been horrid. :blush:

I hijacked this book for 30 minutes at the convention to keep me entertained in what otherwise could have been a snooze-fest. And don't think I was the only one! This book made its rounds at the table!

It's probably not appropriate to call this book cute. It was fun though! The picture of the guy holding the wind up penis toys cracked me up. And let me tell you, the fold out pages of all the pictures certainly got the looks from those around me - including Noumena12 and Aceofhearts!

Hi everyone that's already journalled this! :)

I did a quick flip through of this one right when I got it. I read it during convention. I brought it down to breakfast to give to CheriPie and it ennded up getting passed around the table. It made for a fun breakfast! lol

Yup, Apolonia handed this off to me during one of the meetings at the 2006 Toronto BC Convention. It was passed around the table and a good time was had by all! :) At one point, I held up one of the centerfold pics with tongue pretending to lick one of the sexy guys and SandDanz snapped a pic with her non-digital camera, so I've yet to see if that came out or not since everyone at our and surrounding tables had me cracking up laughing by that point!

Though I looked through many of the pics in this book there, and read a bit of the text, I definitely want to share it with some of my other non-BC friends, and since this coming weekend is a Pagan holiday (Beltane, which actually falls on Monday the 1st), I'll have a fun group around to laugh over it some more with. :)

Sorry I didn't get this one on the move again sooner - I've had it back from Mum for a while, but it's a crazy time at uni at the moment and the poor little penis book just got put aside and forgotten.

Anyway, what an enlightening and humorous little book! More than anything that anyone other than a few professionals would ever need (or want!) to know about the male organ. Very thorough, very informative and VERY funny!

This is amusing and informative. A quick read..ten to twenty minutes. Why then have I had it soooo long? I am a slck lazy and very busy bookcrosser! Becoming more understanding of people who have books for a long time.
