johnny smith had an accident , as a child, an accident he immediately forgot. years later, a car-crush sends him into a deep coma. when he finally awakes , the world has moved on without him...but johnny brings with him a strange power: sensing the future. and what he sees into the future is frightening.
exceptional. i couldn't choose between this novel and "the stand"-and those that have read that know what this means.

An excellent reading. Even though it's not a horror story as I expected, it's extremely captivating. Stephen King did very good job (as usual :)).

I haven't read *that* many King books but among the ones I did read, this stands out. I love books that keep me wondering what'll happen next, and I like King's style of telling you what's going to happen, then building up to it. I wasn't too fond of the ending - I kept hoping for a happy one, but.. oh well.
