Journal Entry 4 by danesnboxers at Burger King at AT &100 in Villa Ridge, Missouri USA on Friday, September 30, 2005
I caught the book outside a Krispy Kreme in St. Louis, Mo. when we had been to visit our son. I read it and released it at a Git n Go in Springfield, Mo., which is near our home. I skimmed some of it because I was in the middle of a book that I really wanted to read. I don't rate it any higher because it was so predictable: villain is easily guessed, the right couple get together, a seeming friend has a "secret", etc. She gave one too many clues which made the villain pretty obvious if you read carefully. I enjoy a bit more surprise or mystery in my reading. I really did, however, enjoy the read. It is good escape and her style flows quickly for the "reader in a hurry".
