Journal Entry 4 by rooshill from Foresthill, California USA on Tuesday, February 26, 2008
Got it last night and started reading already. I was suffering through a rather dry book and this was a great excuse to ditch it ;) I've never read anything by Neil Gaiman, but I can tell already that I like his writing style - and the story line is not at all what I expected, in a good way.

I will certainly be looking for more books by Neil Gaiman. I've got an injury making it hard to type, so you don't get to hear me run on with a review. It was fun, fast-paced, intriguing. In the mail tomorrow to efs300

American Gods arrived today. I am in the middle of another (rather long) bookring book right now. So it may be a few weeks till I can get to it. I have read Stardust and Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman and have enjoyed both of them so I look forward to reading this book.

Just arrived in the mail. Recieving anything at summer camp is always a joy even if it is something you are expecting. I have another book to finish before I start this one but I have a rather large amount of spare time.

Journal Entry 11 by babyimran from Kajang, Sultanate of Selangor (Shah Alam) Malaysia on Monday, December 15, 2008

The book just arrived via the email. I understand Teggers because I am just about to complete my master's thesis, part-time. Jan 2 - I have begun reading the book since I cannot do much on my thesis. Jan 19 - I really had a hard time to get to this journal to get the address of the next member. Finished it on Saturday and it was a good read.

Journal Entry 15 by ritao from Helsinki, Uusimaa Finland on Wednesday, April 01, 2009
The book arrived last week, and I've already started reading it; just forgot to report it. :) This is my first Neil Gaiman novel, so I don't really know what to expect. The theme seems interesting, though.

Journal Entry 16 by ritao from Helsinki, Uusimaa Finland on Thursday, June 04, 2009
Sorry that I've been such a slow reader! Unfortunately the end of term has been quite hectic, so the moments that I had time to read this book were few and far between. I could definitely read some more Gaiman after this one... I liked the way he mixes mythology with popular culture, and really enjoyed all the references to world myths. And, by the way, one kid who had disappeared from the town had a Finnish name (Lemmi Hautala). It's always fun to find something related to Finland in foreign books. :D Will contact the next reader right now, and send the book forward ASAP.

Journal Entry 20 by Aramena from Moore, Oklahoma USA on Monday, February 22, 2010
This book has been traveling quite awhile and I realize that I have held onto it much longer than I should have. I enjoyed it, yet at times I seemed to slog through it. I loved the ending. But I'm not sure if I care about reading any further books from Gaiman. I guess the writing just didn't quite capture me. Anyway, I PMd JenKazoo at the beginning of the month and have not heard back from her. I'll PM her again today.

Journal Entry 27 by mysticalzoe at Gardiner, Maine USA on Monday, July 19, 2010
Received today in the mail, been looking forward to this book!!! 7-20-10~Wanted to say that I started this book yesterday and I am already on page 45, very hard book to put down, if all goes well I should be finishing the book soon. 7-29-10~I haven't read the book in two days, because the book right now is lagging. I do want to finish this book to see what is going to happen it may take another week or two. I am picking it up today and trying to get through it this morning to at least Part 3. I am stalled. I have another bookring to get to and I need to move. Have no fear I will finish this book! 8-1-10 I have decided to not finish this book as it is getting a bit boring for me, but I was told to hold onto it and send it to the next person. I will hopefully find out who that is. I am giving the book a 5 because there was a lot of good parts in Part 1 (which is why I read on to Part 2), Part 2 is where I am not wanting to read anymore. Sorry for giving up on this book, but I have another book I have been wanting to read for two weeks now, not related to bookcrossing.
