I wondered whether I would like this book – a ghost story?? – but it sucked me right in, and I found it hard to put down. As usual with this author, the characters are very real, and the involving tale is full of thought-provoking issues.
Sent as controlled release to moimeme in Hobart, Thurs 10 February 2005. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I received this book in the post today. Thank you so much Marglys. I'll read it as soon as possible.
I loved this book. It was my first Jodi Picoult's book and I was quite curious. Well, I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much Marglys for this oportunity. I'll release it soon!
Sent as a controlled release to Fantasma in Lisboa, Friday 20th May 2005.
A ghost story sent to a real ghost. It'll be passed among some portuguese bookcrossers that are keen to know Jodi Picoult's work a little better.

Journal Entry 7 by Fantasma from Carnaxide, Lisboa (distrito) Portugal on Monday, September 26, 2005
The 2nd book I read from Ms Picoult, the 1st was The Pact, and it didn't disapoint, by the contrary, I liked it even more!
The story, even though was mainly about ghosts, seemed more believable, the caracters were persons with whom we could identifie perfectly. It was a kind of a mistery book with lots of different emotions through it.
The all genetic question is very interesting, and not something that can be talked about lightly... many reasons in favour, so many against.
It will be difficult to like another book of hers like this one! But I'll keep trying! ;o)
Now it's going to another BCer caugth in the "Jodi Picoult fever" around here, fflloorr. I bet you're goingo to enjoy it!

Wonderful book! After reading "Vanishing Acts", which is one of her weakest books, this was refreshing.
I read this book quite fast and, as Fantasma, I found the genetic question quite fascinating.

Sorry for the delay.
I have been moving to a new house and my hubby have put this book in a box and I have some work to find it again.
I am sorry.
