Death du Jour

Kath Reichs is both a real-world forensic anthropologist as well as a fiction writer whose main character Tempe Brennan just happens to be in forensics.
Also, the action takes place both in USA and Canada which is pretty cool. Good story and she knows whereof she speaks.

great fun to read a mystery novel as i don't have a 'light' read that often.
also fun as i'm an emergency doctor so easily understood the jargon and spend a great deal of time in montreal ( actual spent 3 days there just the week befor) so a blast
