8 out of 10

Story of teenager facing a growing up crisis - a stranger who claims to be her missing father, appears in her life after eight years. She makes an unplanned journey, and learns something about herself along the way.

A similar themed book to this, but with more detail and in more lyrical writing is Brian Hall's The Saskiad.
