A slim volume from the master storyteller. I decided to set it free. I picked it up 20 years ago from a 2nd hand bookshop. I discovered I can download it from gutenberg.net so when I get around to reading it I will download to my palm. It was time to give the volume its freedom to find someone who will read it now.

Banning Trivia: Along with all his other love stories, placed on the Catholic Church's Index of Prohibited Books in 1863. All Duma Pere's works were banned in Russia in 1850 by Nicholas I.

My fiance found this in the postoffice in Martin Place (I sent him the release alert but he had to go to the post office anyway). This is my 2nd ever catch, but again only by remote control, ie not actually by myself but by my fiance. This book looks very old, unfortunately there is no printing date in it. I do like very old books not for their stories so much as for their covers and just because they are old. It is more appealing to me because it was banned by the Catholic Church heehee, stick it to 'em!
