A Murderous Yarn (Needlecraft Mysteries)

the names of these needlework mysteries keep getting worse and worse! hehehe..though i usually like the easy reading this series provides, i was REALLY disappointed by this one. betsy had almost no role in the actual investigation of this mystery. she asks a few lame-o questions and then doesn't have a clue until some other detective goads her on (he seems to know exactly whats up so why doesn't he go ahead and arrest someone??) and then it isn't until she finally figures it out that he bothers to arrest his suspect. betsy doesn't even go out of her way to talk to anyone this time and she doesn't really ask any questions until they come to her shop to seek her out. hmmmm.....oh well, i look forward to reading the final one in this series (Cutwork) and i really, REALLY look forward to the next one coming out, which has a truely terrible title, Crewel Yule.

Book arrived yesterday. Thank you so much! I've really enjoyed this series and look forward to reading this one. :)
Read this over the weekend. I agree with ahythloday, I was rather disappointed with this book. I have liked Betsy in the other books, but she just kind of bugged me in this one. I have read two others in this series and thought they were great, so will not be giving up on these. But this was not one of the better ones.
thanks jenvince for the book. i appreciate you fulfilling my wish! have a happy new year and may it be filled with lots of books, happiness and love!
