After joining bookcrossing I've developed a strange obsession to buy chick lit books, although I don't read chick lit myself. And by saying I don't read chick lit I don't mean that I'm not in a habit of reading chick lit: I mean I've never read a chick lit book in my life. At least not any that I can remember. I have no idea whether I like the genre or not, and yet I've bought as many as four chick lit books recently, plus three more that I suspect to be chick lit as well. What's gotten into me? Help!

Good in Bed was the second chick lit book I've ever read, and it was better than the first by far. (That wasn't too difficult, though, the first being Bookends.) This book was sometimes genuinely funny, and it wasn't predictable. (Not to me, at least.) The few final chapters were a bit too dramatic to my taste, but they didn't make me loathe Cannie, the main character.

I recommend Good in Bed for light reading to anyone remotely interested in this strange genre. I'll probably release it together with some other chick lit books when the right time comes.

Note! I am planning to do a chick lit theme release sometime this winter. First I'd like to offer my chick lit books to local bookcrossers at a meet-up, but I hope to get them back in a couple of months for my release (plus I might like to read some of the books myself, too). If you chose a book to read, please, prioritize it a bit. There's no great hurry, but don't keep the book for months on end (like I often do). Thanks!

Another note: I still plan to do a chick lit release, but if there's a book you'd like, feel free to ask. I don't need to release them all at once. You may keep the book, too, if you'd like. (I won't be sending them this time, though, they'll have to be fetched somehow.)
