This book will amaze an infuriate. I think it's important to read it because the more people know what's going on, the harder it will be for this kind of inanity to continue. I'm giving it to Fishphot to read and release.

Fishphot never read and released this book; she just carried it around for a year, so now she has given it back to me and I intend to release it.

Just wanted to add a thought. This is paraphrased from Kurt Vonnegut, but in one of his books, he wrote "The biggest disservice we do our children is to teach them how things should be instead of how they are."

Picked up at this month's BC meetup, though I didn't get it from Gryffud. Have just started it and am already infuriated and disturbed.

One of the most aggravating books I have ever read. Just further convinces me that people are stupid. I can't believe that "special interest" groups are more concerned with being politically correct or "morally" superior than providing interesting, well written literature anthologies or accurate history texts for our children to learn from. World history is NOT pretty...the human race has been consistently inhumane. The only way for future generations to change and make the world a better place is for them to see a true picture of the past. ARGH. I need to get off the soap box. Everyone concerned with censorship, the dumbing down of America and possible revisionism should read this book.
