Thank you very much!! I am excited to read it--I have heard such mixed reviews. I plan to read it very soon, and then hopefully pass it along in the LGBT bookbox when it comes my way.

Such a lesbian cult novel, and after reading it, I can see why. It's very much a feminist coming-of-age story, in a time when women--especially lesbians--were held to a very strict role in society. The main character, Molly Bolt, has such a beautiful spirit and drive to her.

The beginning of the book was a bit slow, but the end left me wanting more (did it seem to end a bit suddenly?). Thank you, irishajo, for giving me a chance to read this. I will definitely recommend it to friends.

I have now offered this on the BookRelay site.

received through BookRelay. This was a sweet book about Molly's journey through life and growing up. I liked her spirit and determination, and that she wouldn't be "kept". The story skipped around abit at times, and at some points I wish the author had put more into letting us know Molly's emotions, but overall, I enjoyed reading this.
