I just love this series of books. Makes me want to plan a trip to Botswana and see if there is anyone like Precious Ramotswe and her friends. The author has a way of wrapping the reader up in the setting and bringing it to life. One thing that draws me to the books is that it is just such a different way of life from mine and such a refreshing read. I've pm'd the next person in line and as soon as they reply I'll get it back in the mail. Thanks for sharing!

Everyone has probably thought this book has gone missing and I am the worst bookring participant ever!! Not quite. My life has been a bit hectic with renovating my home and preparing for North American in-laws experiencing their first down-under christmas.
I have recieved and read Morality for Beautiful Girls - it is a feel good book. I too love the simple writing style of Alexander McCall Smith. For me it is best to read these in the winter - the decscriptions of the weather really warms you up.

I don't think I can be a very good bookring participant either Cathietay. I completly forgot to journal this when it arrived however I've now read it and am ready to send it on its way. For me it was a bit too simplistic and I felt a bit patronising but it was an easy read and sometimes thats just what's called for!
