What a great storyteller John Grisham is! Nothing is oo difficult for him! In the Rainmaker, Grisham creates some deep characters with so many personality quirks that you feel like you know each one. Then he throws them into a tulmultuous plot that keeps you turning pages quickly. I read this book in about 3 days because it was such an exciting book.
Rudy Baylor is a law student in his last year of law school. As one of his projects, he is required to offer free legal advice to senior citizens at the local nursing home. Little did he realize that he would meet Dot and Buddy Black who would present to him the lawsuit of all times, one that would make him a "Rainmaker". Rudy jumped right in and fought for the Black's son Donny Ray who was diagnosed with Leukemia and then later denied medical treatment by a large insurance company for no apparent reason. Rudy is thorough and compassionate in his work and never gives up the case. He fights for his client even though he has little courtroom experience.

Got this book in the mail this week. My girlfriend also brought home a copy from the convention, so we'll wild release this one somewhere.
Picked this up at Panera Bakery. The book was there 2 weeks (with others). Don't want to overstay our welcome there, so I picked up the books and will redistribute them around the area.
