I received this book as a Christmas gift in 2002. I finally got around to reading it in the fall of 2003. It is quite entertaining. If you're planning to visit the land down under, I would recommend reading it. It will give you one person's view of the experience. Though it describes many of the sites that you can visit in Australia, I would not use it to plan a trip. It is often hard to distinguish fact from fiction (or perhaps I'm just too gullible).
