This is a part 2 of a series. Although I didn't know that when I picked it up. I don't get the impression it is essential to read the first book, but one never knows. I did enjoy this book. An easy read. Although I found the ending let me down slightly. I'm not sure what I was expecting. Perhaps if I had read the first book......
