One of Sheila O'Flanagan's best books. Alix is the ultimate career woman. Her partner moves in a different sphere. w This book follows the tale of hen her relationship falls apart, she sees a grey hair and everyone is after her job. Very enjoyable read

Got this book with another romance ray book, thankses to Gizmopuddy! :D I will start reading one or the other soon, I haven't actually decided yet so you'll just have to wait and see! :D Romance here I come!

20.5.05
The book was an enjoyable read even though I do not know that much about the world of economics or banking, for that matter. It's comforting to know that we all have our problems but inspite of everything there might actually be someone for everyone of us: a fast, springery read!

24.5.05
I sent the book on its way to nyota24, travel safe!

I enjoyed this book a lot, probably because Alix and I have a little too much in common! I don't have a clue about banking, but I love to travel, and the everyday details of Alix's life in Dublin and the other locations were such a thrill to me.

I'm so glad I joined this ray and discovered Irish Women's Fiction. It's such a refreshing change from U.S. chick lit, which I had more or less abandoned when I signed up for this ray. Thanks, Gizmopuddy!

I expect to send this on to tabby-cat-owner on Monday.

I was looking for something to read and this book was screaming out to me. Lately, I've been slowing wading through some wonderful non-fiction but I really needed a light, quick enjoyable read. This book grabbed me from the start and transported me from holiday and family stresses to the busy business world of Dublin where the main character Alix Callaghan has things mostly in control in her job and her personal life until her boyfriend announces that he's leaving her and her job is starting to get to her more than usual. I really empathized with Alix and how courageously she dealt with the stress in her life.
