I loved the book because it teaches how perserverence and a positive attitude can help us achieve our goals. It's an extraordinary coincidence that this book was left for me by someone from Manila in the Phillipines. On February 14, 1945 my father earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart fighting in Manila to liberate the Phillipines. And now together we're freeing this book. This book also came to me (I found it in my driveway under my Sunday newspaper) when I was feeling pretty down and out and helped me change my perspective when I most needed it.
