Book purchased from the Victorian Animal Aid Op-shop, Bayswater Road South Croydon, for release.

From back cover: "Dr Harold Power is the ninth of ten children born to Virgil Power, the first Queenslander to be appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court. He was born at Rockhampton, Queensland, in 1898, and educated at Southport School and St Ignatius' College, Sydney. His medical studies at the University of Sydney were interrupted by two years service as a gunner in the 1st A.I.F., and he entered general practice in the 1920s. Many of his experiences are told in Bush Doctor. He served in the R.A.A.M.C. in the second World War.
