Placed on a bench just at the entrance/automatic doors. I noticed several people looking at them (several books) with interest. But none took any while I watched.

I found this at the grocery store. I picked it up and for some reason never read or registered it. I am sorry I kept it so long. I will read it and pass it along very soon.
Thanks for sending this, I don't think I asked for it, it came as a bonus with the Agatha Christie book that I requested from the mystery VBB.
This was an enjoyable mystery/thriller by Mary Higgins Clark. It had only some minor inconsistencies, the pacing was tight, the mood was tense, the story was plausible enough, and the romance was sweet. I liked it.
