WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Here is a short synopsis of this book taken from the back cover of the book:
Texas border country. A place of desolation, ancient mystery and modern danger. Presideo County is home to Texana Jones, owner of a trading post, and her husband, the local vet. Still reeling from the murder of two close friends, random victims of the violent world of drug smuggling, Texana discovers the body of reclusive Rhea Fair, a healing woman whose death is too easily dismissed as another casualty of the drug war.
Texana won't accept this and delves into the mystery. The key, she believes, is a missing woman in a rental car who'd come to see Rhea. Sifting through clues as fine as grains of desert sand, Texana uncovers the explosive link between Rhea, her murdered fiends, and the killer.....
Here are comments about this book by professional reviewers.
"....this intriguing tale beautifully evokes not only the stark landscape but also the vibrant flavors of the area's Tex-Mex culture".....BOOKLIST
"One of the finest examples of this tenant that I've ever run across"...Russ Isabella, Deadly Pleasures.
This book will be released at the Historic Rockwall County Courthouse in downtown Rockwall (across the street from Trevino's Mexican Restaurant).
