Just came in the mail, and let me tell you, I was excited to see them (2 and 3 of the series I mean). I loved, LOVED Princess book 1. I expect to love these just as much. Will get to them soon.

Princess Sultana never fails to be inspiring. Despite the faults that make her as human as the rest of us, she has angelic aspirations packaged with a rebelling spirit that a person can't help but admire. She is one of those people who you'd chose when asked "If you could spend a day with anyone in the world, who would it be?" I would love to meet this woman. Not only was this book a biography of sorts, it is also a book that shows you not only Saudi Arabia, but other Islam-ruling middle-eastern countries in a different light. I don't think I've ever read other books as moving or as educational as those I've read about Princess Sultana. This is hands down one of the best books I've ever read.

I've read PRINCESS twice, so I'm looking forward to reading the other two books in the series. Thank you for sharing them!

A good addition to the series - Sultana really grows and changes as a person in this, which is interesting, because DAUGHTERS (the previous book) often felt like nothing more than a recitation of various stories, versus a book about Sultana. I only hope that Sultana and Sasson continue. Thanks for sharing this.

I just mailed off the books to the next person.

I enjoyed both of them. I still have trouble believing that they are really biographical instead of ficiton. It seems to me that too many in the Al-Saud family would be able to recognize the characteres and story and determin who supplied the writer with the info.

I like how the series ended with the sisters deciding to work as a group to improve/save women.

Unfortunately I think they will not get real far and that sultana will continue to have problems with her youngest daughter.

Well, I didn't get through this one nearly as fast, and I think that's because it didn't seem to be as well done as the first two Princess books. The stories seemed more disjointed, and less solid than in the other books. I almost didn't finish it, but I am glad I did, because the final chapter, "Sultan's Circle", made up for the rest of the book - I had tears streaming down my face, when I read about the circle. I think it was a beautiful end to the book, and of course, now I want to know what Sultana's up to NOW!

Have to PM tnelson99 for an address, and then off these go!

Arrived today. Thanks!

I finished, "Princess Sultana's Circle" today. I've read all of Jean Sasson's books and continue to love her work. The struggles in this book were no different from her other books, but indead, still shocking. I truly admire Princess Sultana for her desire to help women. Thanks for sharing these books with us!

This was the best book of the three I think. Such horrors that go on. Found it quite amusing though all the furniture and stuff they took with them for their two week holiday in the desert.
Shall pm the next on the list for their address.
