Disobedience : A Novel

This book reminds me of a post-modern Mr and Mrs Bridge, but not as good. While I definitely think it's good enough to release (frankly, I would release anything anyhow), it didn't resonate with me. I picked it up because I was attracted to the title. I figured, "I'm disobedient" but it turns out that I'm disobedient in a different way than the characters of the book. If I were a character in the book, I would probably be something more like the sister, Elviranon, but not into the gore so much, or the father, but not so passionately, dispassionate. I could be the narrator, but I know that I wouldn't be as cynical as him, or his "artistic" mother.
I hope that whomever finds this, finds it a worthwhile read and gets more out of it than I did!
