Found this entertaining book on a park bench in Portsmouth, NH. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of characters and mini-stories going on around the characters' lives. It is a quick read. I will be passing it on to my daughter.
I received the book from my mom. She got it from my father-in-law and he found it on a bench in Portsmouth, NH. I have just finished reading the story and will probably leave it as it was found by my father-in-law in or around Boston.
I read the first book in the Tales of the City over 10 years ago. Reading this book was like reacquainting yourself with old friends. I especially enjoyed the storyline in the UK as I lived in London for two years as well as worked in the Cotswold area (which is where Easley on the Hill is set).
I hope to read the two books between Tales of the City and Babycakes.
