Sam Altman, a disillousioned Berkeley Graduate, leaves his rebelious life as a protester and riotor to follow his wildest imaginations. His is not alone in his quest, someone else understands him, Lindy, with whom he falls in love. As he travels to meet her he renames himself Ransom and gradually transforms into a ram, would be prey to a pack of wolves that seem odly familiar. The mad pusuit leads from the wilds to civilization and back again. When Sam and Lindy return to brave the perilous mountain together the truth behind his imagined transformation emerges. What they discover threatens their love, sanity and their lives.
