The book is here. Thanks a lot and also for "The Cat Who Saved Books". As you've probably guessed I'm sucker for a cat book.
A view of WWII as seen by the people of Paris, both local and foreigners, who did not leave but stayed and continued to work in the city during the Nazi occupation. It shows both the best and the worst of human nature and, through a view of life for one person after leaving Paris, something of the long term effects of the events of the war years too.
