I read this book because of what people were saying about Nora Roberts. I'm glad I did. Now I understand what they meant when they said that Roberts combines mysticism and romance well. I agree. This particular book reminded me a lot of the movie Practical Magic, many of the same combinations, similar situations. I enjoyed it quite a bit, considering that it was still a romance in spite of the unique qualities she added. I do plan to read the rest of this trilogy, though I don't know whether I'll pursue other books by Roberts afterwards.
