I was cleaning out my bookshelf,
I found some books to spare.

Why keep them all to myself?
Isn't it best to share?

I hope you like this book. :)

I have this book
in my possession
because of my crippling
bookcrossing obsession.

Halifax-panda needed
help with releasing.
She asked me to do it
I thought she was teasing...

What a treat and a joy
to have a supply
of literary works
To leave on the sly!

I love to release these-
I'm totally hooked!
And so, off this goes!
Good luck little book!

Released on Friday, May 21, 2004 at Sobey's on Fenwick Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada.

Will be leaving this classic at the free newspaper stands as you enter the store (probably near the Coast newspapers, as I need to pick one up) around 10:30/11am.

I was on my way out of the grocery store when I caught sight of it sitting on top of a magazine stand. At first I thought it was a joke. But soon after I spotted it another person walked over and told me that if I didn't take it, he would! So I took it with me, not noticing the title at first. When I got home, I saw that it was Doctor Zhivago! - the first movie I ever remember seeing (and being profoundly affected by) as a child! Even stranger, I had been rereading Emerson who asserts that every book we are ever meant to read, will find it's way to us! Thank You Halifax Giver!

CAUGHT IN HALIFAX NOVA SCOTIA CANADA

This was such fun, I have taken way too long to let everyone know where this book was. I am sorry.

I found the book on a transit bus. It was like finding a little present. I love to read and so when I found out that someone left it behind for my reading pleasure, I was as pleased as could be.

I liked the book. It was not one of my favorites but I trudged through and I now can say that I have read it. I have yet to catch the movie but if it is anything like my experience with "Midnight in The Garden of Good and Evil", I may be disappointed.

Thanks to whomever left behind this book :)
