Yay! I got the first of the series! Nicely doctored up by outlandsgypsy. I will add it to the pile of books that are waiting to be read, and when I find the other 4 (yes that's right it's not just a trilogy anymore) I will release all the books together! Thanks outlandsgypsy!!

Okay... This might get confusing... I have been looking for this series for 4 months. Just today, I found out tyvmdear has a copy of the 2nd and 3rd books. So... I will send #1 to tyvmdear who happens to live in the same province as me. tyvmdear will read #1, #2, and #3, then send them back to me! How smart are we?

Finished reading last night. I have been waiting so long to read this book and it was worth the wait. Ged is a young man who knows he has great power within himself and wants to be able to learn how to use it and fast. But in a wizard duel with another student, he releases an evil "shadow" and he learns the hard way that a wizard needs to know when and what spells to use. As a result of him releasing the shadow, he is hunted by it for years, until when finally he meets head to head with it. Thank you so much for sharing this book with me. Now on to book 2, The Tombs of Atuan. When finished book 2, I will read book 3, The Farthest Shore.

What a great book this is. It was great to read it again after so many years, and great to finally read it after having it for 6 months!! I'm looking forward to visiting Earthsea again in the next 5 books :D Reserving for loislane05 who has it on her wishlist, and is currently not looking for the entire series.

Day-zee, thanks so much for sending me these Earthsea books. I've been wanting to read them for quite some time. And the extra suprises, the bookmarks and beautiful postcard, are wonderful. (Winnepeg is such a pretty city. I want to go back and visit sometime this summer!) I plan on reading this book soon and passing it to an eager friend too.
