Thank you! Yay another graphic novel! Yay another graphic novel from :01 (which to me has become a mark of quality). Thanks so much for sharing.

I think part of the reason that this book won the triple crown of the comics industry honors is because it resonates with so many people.

Most of us likely have turned down a friend or a date just because we fear that they won't make us look cool, doesn't fit our ideals, and we fear we will be laughed at or ostracized. Maybe we all would wish for a chance for apologies.

While the comics is not my style, the flow is really smooth and the artist is skilled at varying the panels to set the pace and mood.

Quite a tranquil read, even though the characters had little bursts of feelings every here and there. The whole story was laced with a sense of leisure, and nostalgia of going back to your teens. The twofolding realities of adulthood seem to be universal: your (high) school friends either escape the farthest they can or they stay put where they've grown up, and those two worlds barely meet.
