A twisted tale told, in part, by Amber who is in a coma....but one of the few things we know about Amber is that sometimes she lies. Her thoughts while in this state are intriguing yet confusing - is there any truth in her musings (remember she sometimes lies!) or are they just the random dreams of a comatose woman?

There's plenty of twists along the way (most of which I failed to spot, I must be losing my edge) & there was one scene I found particularly distasteful & as I didn't feel it added anything to the story, thought it unnecessary. That's all I'll say as to discuss the characters or storyline in any detail would spoil it for future readers.

Overall, it's not the best thriller I've read, nor is it even the best I've read about someone in a coma but it is one that had me gripped & fooled by the unreliable narration, so in that respects it's done it's job ;o)

Before I go I'll just share this quote that I really liked:

"We are all made of flesh and stars, but we all become dust in the end. Best to shine while you can"
