Mary Higgins Clake is one of my favourite authors. Her books can be somewhat predictable but enjoyable all the same.

i logged into the hunt section, and noticed this book was released about 3 hours earlier a mere 9 blocks from my home. well, it was not yet 11, and i was up for a quick walk, and excitedly i got ready and hurried to the bus stop hoping that no-one would get to it before i did. Well, I got it. I turned around and headed back home i read over the cover, and hearing a bit of thunder, i tuck the book safely into my coat. i get about halfway home and there is a bright flash of light, followed immediately by a loud CRACK, and in a few brief moments i was drenched. Book remained safely tucked away.
Lesson learned, Sometimes you get wet hunting....
looking forward to tucking myself into bed and getting this book going...will release it as soon as i finish it!
