Since desire always goes towards that which is our direct opposite, it forces us to love tht which will make us suffer.

Sat down the day this arrived to reflect/copy a few quotes - outside on the front porch on a warm, breezy afternoon.
The editor's idea (Preface) seems an important piece: love/relationship...is a form of skillful means through which we can cultivate paience, generosity, discipline, integrity, and many other virtues in our daily ,lives."

Though I connected with parts of the quoted thoughts, I found none completely captured love.
And, perhaps, that's the point: from J. Krishnamurti - "Put away the book... and take the journey of self-discovery. Love, and don't be caught in opinions and ideas about what love is or should be..."

Sending this on to LisaB - with love!

This book didn't last very long in its bookray journey before it took a long detour. Where has this book gone? Has it gotten lost in the mail or met some other tragic fate?

It is hoped that a brief stay on the Lost Book Island will help this book rejuvinate so that once again it can move along its intended path. We anxiously await the journal entry that will tell all the interested parties the true fate of this book.
