It's not an instant favourite but I much enjoyed it and was touched by it nevertheless, especially because Anna Bentinck does a wonderful job at presenting it. She is very good at bringing the different characters in the novel to life by altering her voice and doing different local/social accents.
The story resembles a fairytale too much. Jane herself is a flawless person. She has an unfortunate start into her life, very frightening things happen, but she always falls on her feet and at the end she finds happiness. A little too easy for my taste.
