This was in my goody bag at the unconvention yesterday. Obviously it was seen that I have a couple of this author's books on my TBR pile so to include this one was not going to be a bad mistake!!! I shall read it....um....as soon as I can!
So, 14 years later, I have finally got around to reading this book. It was certainly different but I can't make up my mind whether I liked it or not. Every chapter told a little bit more about Pietro Russel's life (mostly in the first person) which included his conception, his birth and other aspects of his life but nothing was chronological which I found a bit disconcerting. Some chapters were more interesting than others but every time I wanted to know 'what happened next' it would either jump back or leap forward a number of years, so that was a bit frustrating.
Book left on a seat in the 'jelly mould'
Found this book by the “jelly mould”, while walking my dog on Folkestone (Kent, UK) beach this morning. I’ll give it a read and get back to you.....
