TBR wishlist tag ~ russbaum

I really wanted to like this book more but found Neve from the outset really irritating and most things just too far fetched. I have a couple of earlier books by the same authors so it will be interesting to see what they’re like.

"Too far fetched" sums it up about right. I'd also point out how quickly it all came together, as though the author was running out of time and some advice to aspiring authors : don't write about eating disorders (?) or mental health issues (?) if you aren't prepared to deal with the issues raised. At least it only took a few days to read.

Received in the post from Russbaum and just taken out of quarantine. Thanks very much. I must confess I had forgotten this one was coming to me so it was a nice surprise. Looks like my kind of book.

REView:- (by my husband) "The storyline in this book started off at a reasonable pace but by the end there were so many people either staying at the main character's house or partying there that even the author must have lost track by the end. It was a bit far-fetched in general and rather too many suspects for the murder."

This book will be left in one of the changing cubicles by the pool in a freezer bag to protect it from the water.

I already have books travelling in many countries around the world-a list can be found on my bookcrossing profile.

When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.
