Nick Hornby is just funny. This book is touching and heartwarming. If you were just a little different from everyone else in school, you will appreciate this story.
The Seed and I (and PrettyPoodle, who wasn't quick enough to get it before us) found this book at Panera Bread in Kingstown, VA.
The best part is that this is our FIRST WILD FIND!
We left our own book, Deception Point, where we found this one.

It appears my "catch" and hayseedPA's "release" were reversed. I want to ensure that the status is correctly reflected as "TBR" by me and "caught" for him/her.
I look forward to reading this book soon.

This was too "Chick Lit" for me. I stopped reading it after a couple of chapters.
The next bookcrosser will enjoy it.

Journal Entry 6 by H2Omelons at Family Member in -- By post or by hand --, South Carolina USA on Wednesday, August 18, 2004
Released on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at The Bedroom in My Wife, A Family Member Controlled Releases.
Given to me by my hubby!
I seem to have liked this book better than my husband did as I actually finished it.
It was a fun and easy to read story, although there were several sad parts. I wish they had done more with the single parents group, but that is not where the author wanted to take the book. Bummer....it could have been fun!
