Maeve Binchy is hit and miss for me. I like some of her work, others I just can't get into. This one is just not catching my attention. In order to keep the ring going I am going to pass this one on to the next person on the list. Thank you for letting me be a part of the ring!

When I got back from my Memorial Day Weekend trip to Disneyland this morning, this book was waiting for me in my mailbox! I'm glad it finally arrived--where have you been since November, little book? I have one book to read before this one, but I'm almost done with that one so I should be starting this one soon!

Journal Entry 8 by Eucalia from Issaquah, Washington USA on Saturday, June 11, 2005
I finished reading this book and I really enjoyed it! Maeve Binchy is such a wonderful storyteller, I found myself reading this book in every spare moment I had. And wow, that ending! I sure didn't expect that to happen!

I've attached a picture of this book I took a few days ago when I brought it and a Jamba Juice with me to Kerry Park for a nice read.

Maeve Binchy never lets me down. I enjoyed this book as much as I have all her others. I think I have two left to read. The characters are so captivating, and the story line keeps the pages turning. It was a let down only when it came to an end. MBsAngel didn't respond, and stardustnf wanted to be passed, so I'm sending this off to timollie5502 today. Sorry I've had this book so long. I'm so glad I read it!

This was a great story - I read it while commuting every morning on the train, and it was perfect for that. I love watching female friendships, and this was a great story about one that grew and grew. Thanks for sharing it!

Edit 6/13 - this went home to surfenkitten today during a swap where my husband works! Glad we could do this in person!
