Vampires Anonymous

Oooohh. Anonymous Vampire porn. Looks like it might be good or might be dreadful
I couldn't get very far in this book. I was happy to trade it with Jaremeister for a Tanya Huff book instead.
The book sounds interesting, gay vampire erotica.. I'll give it a try and see how I enjoy it. Thanks for the trade!
From the back cover:
Jeffrey N. McMahan won a Lambda Literary Award for his short-story collection Somewhere In The Night. Now Andrew, the wry vampire who was introduced in those stories, is back with a book of his own.

Finished this one today! What a fun book it was. Not exactly what I would call erotica, the gay sex scenes were no more graphic than most hetero-sex scenes are in "mainstream" novels. A bit gory in parts, which is totally fine by me. I loved the story, and the authors use of both first and third person. Andrew, the main character was hillarious! And the ending, well, without giving it away, I'll say it was fabulously fitting to my own life!
This was a good read. The characters had few redeeming qualities, but they *are* vampires.
This is set to go out soon on a mini-bookray. Bookray is going to:

Good read. Some was hard to get into, however, I am glad I did keep up and finished it.

missed journalling this... thanks Suebo!
It's funny that so many people before me thought this was erotica. I didn't get that impression at all. I flipped through it and didn't spot anything even remotely steamy. That's not erotica. Plus, the blurbs are very impressive. Oh, and on the back cover it says this novel is a sequel to the author's short story collection, which won a Lambda Literary Award.
Can't wait to read it.
