Charlo Thorp has problems. He´s lost his wife and his job, and now his gambling debts are driving his daughter away from him. Desperate, his solution is to rob and elderly woman of her money and silverware. But Harriet Krohn fights back and Charlo loses control. Wracked with guilt, Charlo attempts to rebuild his life. This book is very different from other books by Karin Fossum as it´s told through the eyes of the killer. So in some ways it was a bit disappointing to me as there was not the normal chase like there is in crime books.
