This book arrived in the mail while I was out-of-town this weekend. I will start it tonight. Thanks, kab113!

I thought this book was just OK. I sometimes had to reread passages because I was unsure if the events were taking place in the present or if Ellen was remembering something from her past. The book did hold my interest enough for me to finish it. There was a quote that I wanted to include here, but I can't find it at this moment. If I find it, I'll add it here later. Thanks, kab113!

OK, I found the quote: "The being happy. It's so much easier, to learn to love what you have instead of yearning always for what you're missing, or what you imagine you're missing. It's so much more peaceful."

Today I am mailing this book to Enidq in Illinois.

I just could not get into this one. I could understand the daughter and her reluctance to move home but once she did the story fell flat and I could not finish it. I am a huge Anna Quindlen fan after reading BLACK and BLUE but this one bored me to the point that I had no desire to know what was on the next page.

Enidq, because you are ignoring my PM's, I have no choice but to contact you this way. Please journal with an update as to when you plan to send this book on. There are more people waiting!!! Perhaps you could also let those who are waiting for the other bookring of mine that you have know when you are sending that book on as well - In Her Shoes. Thank you.
