From the back cover:

A pilot's wife is taught to be prepared for the late-night knock at the door. But when Kathrun Lyons receives word that a plan flown by her husband, Jack, has exploded near the coast of Ireland, she confronts the unfathomable-- one startling revelation at a time. Soon drawn into a malestrom of publicity fueled by rumors that Jack led a secret life, Kathryn sets out to learn who her husband really was, whatever that knowledge might cost. Her search propels this taut, impassioned novel as it movingly explores the question, How well can we ever really know another person?

Excellent, excellent book. I was skeptical when I read the back cover, but it really was a page-turner and I enjoyed every minute of the reading of this book. The writing is so wonderful, and there's even a lot of symbolism and the sort of thing English majors really get a kick out of. ;-) I highly recommend this book. You'll enjoy it.

A really excellent book, I found myself not wanting to put it down once I started! The entire book kept me guessing, I never really knew what to expect until the very end!

A really good read. It takes you right into the mind of a grieving widow and makes you feel her pain. Sending it on tomorrow to versacevixen who is next on the bookray list.
