This paperback was bought from a car boot sale at W. Runton, Norfolk.

REVIEW:-"A compelling and very poignant story that had me reading late into the night. I've been a big fan of the author for many years having watched documentaries about her, as well as other tv programmes she's been involved in and much admired her courage and strength, It was very enlightening but also horrific to read the whole story behind her hideous injuries and disfigurement. In particular I was moved by her experience of hallucinations when on morphine in ICU as I experienced the same thing personally after open heart surgery. However I can't imagine going through the massive amount of operations and procedures that Katie has endured over the years and was saddened to read that these may also have an impact on her life expectancy. This book will stay with me for a long time.
