This is a cute little miniature book with quotes on reading and little pull tabs that transform the pictures. I am registering it to make into a travel bug to commemorate the 1st Annual BookCrossing Convention in St. Louis, MO, 2004.

Journal Entry 10 by candy-is-dandy from Great Bardfield, Essex United Kingdom on Friday, April 18, 2008
After a plea from beckydore on BCUK I set off on a lovely sunny April afternoon to drive a 160-mile round trip to ensure that this bug does achieve it's aim of attending the Bookcrossing 2008 Anniversary Convention in London.
Got it!! (picture to come).

Had to brave the M11 and M25 including the Dartford River Crossing but the walk was pleasant, the cache was easy enough to find and the travel bug can no longer say "so near and yet so far".

Have already read this sweet little book and enjoyed pulling all the tabs(It's still in good condition).

It will attend the Convention with me and once I know where the 2009 Convention will take place will send it off on its travels again.

Got to look through this cute little sliding-page book/TB at the BC convention in London - very cute! Left it in the hands of the New Zealand convention organizers so it can appear in 2009.

I completely concur with Becky's comments.

I was privileged to be able to flick through this charming little book at the London convention, and I hope it makes it to NZ.

Cute little book that has had an exciting life! Will keep it on its journey to the April 2009 convention in Christchurch, but plenty of time for some summer siteseeing in our lovely province first. Will place it another local geocache.

This was a very cute little book. I read it while visiting some geocaching friends who had found it. They are planning to put it out in a new cache soon, I believe.
It is in good condition, all tags intact, and has travelled very well. I hope it can make it to the next convention too.

I found this neat little book which is now a geocaching travel bug in a geocache near the tourism centre in Brantford, Ontario.

I took it on a library run! We traveled to 7 library geocaches and took pictures with other TB's and geocache containers . . . including 3 hollow books. What a fun time we had. Also took pictures of it with another Library book TB belonging to Brant County Libraries.

I have never heard of BookCrossing.com before. Neat idea. Thanks for making it a TB and sharing it!

This is the first time we heard about bookcrossing. We thought we would let you know that we picked it up at the Hides of March geocaching event that was held in Brantford Ontario. We have the perfect place to drop of this travel bug. Thanks for sharing and good luck with your journey. What a neat idea.

I found this little book in an ammo can geocache. Surprisingly the inside of the cache was waterlogged and the book was in rough shape. I dried it out, cleaned it up and repaired it as best as I could. I am taking to a geocache near Toronto International airport and will drop it there so that it can be picked up and taken to another part of the world!

Journal Entry 25 by wingGoryDetailswing at Nashua, New Hampshire USA on Sunday, February 8, 2015
I'm journaling to update the book/TB history, as some of the finders have logged the Travel Bug but not the BC book. When last heard from, the book/TB was in the West Wheal Damsel Mine puzzle cache somewhere in Cornwall, roughly 250 miles from Oxford, so there's at least some hope that it might make it to this year's convention!

Update, Mar. 14: it's now in No Hassall near Warwick, about 50 miles from Oxford.

Journal Entry 26 by Schlenzens at Otterndorf, Niedersachsen Germany on Tuesday, March 29, 2016
The Book IS very damaged on the journey. Perhaps I can fix it and let it go to another Cache. Now it is in Germany, Otterndorf. Greetings Schlenzens.
