I didn't realise this was a 'young adult's' book when I bought this (even though it is clearly stated thus on the front cover!!!), but at least I only picked it up from a charity shop for a pound. I got through it very quickly nevertheless. It's an easy read even though it does rather overstretch the imagination. I can imagine kids enjoying it though.
