I have always loved this book, and thought I would get another copy to pass on to someone who has not yet had the pleasure of reading it.

This book has a good sad story but it is hard to follow with the type of language she talks in. Like " Pa git up and go yonder out der yard". Other than that its a great story of women and the lives , being abused by men.
