It’s been a while since I read the earlier books in the series but enjoyed this one.

Thank you so much for sending me this book
12 Feb 2020 - I thought this was my first Billingham book, however on checking back it appears I read number 9 in this series in 2015!
I think I added this to my shelf after seeing one of those ‘if you read this and enjoyed it you will probably like these’ type lists. So I was quite looking forward to reading this. It started off well and was going quite quickly, and then around half way it all started slowing down. I’m not sure if it was me getting busy at work, or the story or a bit of both. It felt like it got a bit ridiculous, the body count kept growing and I felt the police were going round and round in circles. I’ve got In The Dark on my shelf which I’ve heard a lot about, so I’m hoping I get on with that one better.
