From the back cover...
The Sixties...suddenly the issues of race war and sex were no longer taboo, but exploding into the forefront of everyone's life.
Decade is the giant novel of a new generation. Spring 1960 fins Clay Gillies, Michele Davy, Ken Igawa, Leigh Sutherland, Adam York and the rest of their classmates poised on the brink of love, marriage, political ferment and personal violence. In the next ten years their paths will cross and re-cross to weave the unforgettable tapestry of Decade.

I've several of this author's novels on my shelves and they've been there for a long while.
I don't remember much about them except that back in the early eighties they seem to be the books I took on holday and read on the beach.

Just finished this book. On first appearances and when I started reading it was unusure I was going to like it, but I did get into eventually. Did seem like a bit of a chore at first but before I knew it I'd finished it. All in all it was a good read but not fantastic!
Thanks for sharing redhouse. Will pass on to MClaraM when I get her address.
